The heart of Jewish student life

: Chabad anticipates and serves the needs of students on a social, educational and spiritual level. At Chabad, all students are welcome, regardless of background, affiliation, and level of observance. Every student becomes part of the Jewish community.

Expansion: The first Chabad House was started on the UCLA campus in the heady 60's. More recently the Chabad on Campus National Foundation, has set an ambitious course of expansion. Indeed, during the past five years alone the Chabad campus presence has increased by more than 100%.

Chabad at Hofstra University-Jewish Student Center:

Established in Fall 2005, to serve the Jewish community at Hofstra University and neighboring colleges, we provide students with weekly Shabbat dinners, classes, holiday programs,and more. The Chabad Jewish Student Center is directed by Rabbi Shmuli and Chavie Lieberman.
